Given this information, I can tell that the aggressor must be able to attack both bluntly and sharply. Ponies can do both, but they'd need a good magic knowledge...
With this in mind, it must be:
A; a highly powerful monster
B; an extremely adept, agile unicorn
C; another alicorn
I'd point to my FC, Klokwerk, but that wouldn't make any sense and frankly is sort of egotistical. Speaking canonically, it could be Discord, Nightmare Moon, Trixie (Only in combination), or--most likely--some combination of the above.
How did they do it? With powers like those, they could flat-out bum rush her and cause this sort of damage.
Given the damage, either "yes" or "you missed the fight."
