I could actually see it working like this. Applejack bucks the tree, all the apples falling but one. Understandably Applejack tries bucking the tree a few more times to get it down, doesn't work. I could then see her trying to climb tree, but fails at that too. (insert all sorts of ideas for her to get apple)
Then in frustration bucks the tree sending it flying.
